County Weights & Measures

Each county in California has an Office of Weights and Measures (also known as Department of Agriculture or Agricultural Commissioner - varies from county to county) that has jurisdiction over any commodity that is weighed, measured, or counted, including gasoline and food. The offices are also responsible for assuring the accuracy of weights and measures.
